I already did one today, but I've got some extra time so here's day 17 too.

I really love art, almost any art.  There are a lot of art pieces that I absolutely love.  My great-grandma Diddy is an artist.  I love all of her stuff.  Though she doesn't do it any more, she used to paint (oils and watercolor I believe) and make pottery and sculptures.  She lost most of her paintings, not to mention her personal belongings and her home in Katrina though.  No worries, she's resilient.  Since then she's bought a new home, replaced her furniture, and gone to her all family and friends to reclaim her art.  She needed something to hang on her walls, after all.

But, since I can't show you guys any of her stuff, I'll just have to show you my other favorite artist...

Claude Monet.  I love the impressionist style.  It's so free and full of emotion.  I love most of Monet's paintings, but here are a few I especially like.
